Welcome to the Tots Nursery Schools web site. We aim to provide you with all the information that you need to appreciate just why we are so proud of our schools, our staff and most importantly the children who have attended and are attending Tots Nurseries.
Tots Nursery Schools are based in Eastbourne in East Sussex, on the sunny south coast of England. The story so far......
Tots Nursery was opened in May 1989 on the ground floor of number 34 Eshton Road, Eastbourne, registered to care for just 15 children on a part time basis. By 1990 demand for places meant that we needed to expand both our available space and our hours. By 1991 we were looking after 28 children on a part or full time basis.
In the next few years we opened an after school and holiday club and in 2000 we expanded into number 32 Eshton Road and were able to open a beautiful Baby Unit whilst enhancing the facilities for all age ranges. Tots and Time Out is now registered for 48 children aged 3 months to eleven years.
In 2003 we were delighted to acquire Bright Beginnings based in Enys Road. A beautiful nursery that we have continued to improve upon and which is registered for 56 children aged 1 to 8 years.
Both nurseries use our exceptional curriculum formulated by the Principal with ongoing input from the highly qualified and experienced staff.
Nutritionally balanced hot lunch meals are available at both Nurseries if required. Alternatively packed lunches are equally welcome. The children are provided with a choice of drinks with a selection of fresh fruit , vegetables or savoury snacks at break times. Parents must provide babies with their own food and drink. Any food allergies or just dislikes(!) are discussed and recorded at initial child registration time. We regularly update children’s registration details and welcome health updates regarding your child when necessary.
